Blitz packs worthless now?

As of now, I believe there is only one, barely populated Blitz playlist where the level of your cards matter. I doubt people will be willing to pay money or perform long grinds just to win in one playlist, so, at this point, is Blitz’s microtransaction system pointless now? The only mode most people care about the level of their cards for is Blitz Firefight, but even that isn’t really worth spending money on, since it isn’t really the main attraction.

In my opinion, the introduction of daily Blitz packs is a sign that 343 isn’t making enough money to justify the difficulty of achieving Blitz packs to lure people into buying them, so they made one free daily, since the value of packs have decreased so significantly among the community. Thoughts?

PS: 343 can you please show the progress of card levels in the packs I open on Waypoint? I just realized I could do this, since I never had reason to do it considering the fact that I usually opened my packs as soon as I get them in-game, but these daily packs now give me a reason to open them on Waypoint. Just showing me the cards on Waypoint has no purpose without showing me how close they are to the next level. Please fix.

Perhaps the daily Blitz packs are a way for people to try out the game mode?

No, I’d think people would get enough hints to try out the mode by the packs they get in campaign and when they level up. There’s already plenty of arrows pointing to Blitz scattered across the game, a daily pack isn’t going to do much better than the others have been.
