Hi guys, at launch I felt one map could do its way along several weeks. But now at this point I feel it is a pity there is no map immediately coming. It is being a little bit tiring to see the same map over and over. Blitz is an amazing mode, I love it. But it could be even better if we get one map more as soon as possible. By the EPAX Panel I think they said something about they are aware of this situation, and they are listening the community. Hope a new map is being designed and coming soon.
I was thinking if possible to have a dessert map or even a “snow” landscape map as resemble of the first game. Peace guys!

I hear ya there. I enjoy Blitz. But I have slowed down due to the lack of maps. Hopefully more come.
I mean this is 343i after all. They do listen and respond more often than not
I would be happy just did the arctic or desert aesthetics as palette swaps for Proving Grounds. It’s my most played mode, so it would be nice to have something new to rest my eyes on.

I’d also enjoy seeing another map for this mode, just to vary stuff. By now, everybody tries the same strategies. A new map might shake things up a bit.
I love this mode and would like to Support the developers with some pack purchases. But I will not do so until they relase a couple more maps. I have no idea what they were thinking to just have one map for such a featured game mode.
They talked about this in the Pax panel. Essentially they approached Blitz as a game mode similar to dota or league of legends, games that play out in just one map, so the variety is provided by the different leaders/decks people use.
They confirmed they have the feedback for new maps and are actively discussing adding new maps to blitz.

Ok, thanks for the info. At least it explains it. Not sure how the Dota map is set up but i assume it much bigger with more variety? This mode definitley Needs more maps, I would prefer much bigger maps to have some variety in strategy…
What scares me is the Phrase “discussing”. So if they just started discussing now a new map won’t be here before may or june. I fear by then the game mode is pretty much dead.

It was dead the moment you could spend 100 and be instantly better than every single other person playing

Yes they do listen I have never seen such a good community of report, listen, and deliver. I love every mode and I can’t wait to see more of this game. I heard a new leader is coming this week too so I’m super pumped. 343 you guys rock keep doing what’s your doing and everyone please be patient this is a RTS game not a COD things need time to fix and when they are the game will shine.

It need’s way more cards, like 100 more unique cards, like REQ pack weapons/ vehicles in H5. And at least a minimum 1-2 more maps one being symmetrical normal map. With the DLC leaders bringing new units and abilities cards. That should keep blitz alive for a while.

I have to disagree on that. I think the campaign was legitimately long enough. I played twice, in normal and legendary. Plus you have to look out for all the Logs, get gold medals and optional missions. And it is way diverse and with a simple logic beautiful story. And come on! Multiplayer has tons of things to do. Don’t really know if you have played an RTS before, but this one has hours and hours to play before any dlc is coming. About the season pass, well, you need to understand, this is not Halo fps, here they cannot rely so much on a big big community. So people like me that love this game just need to pay 29 bucks more to get access to content for over this year… Do you really think that is a bad thing? I will tell you something, I feel it is more worth it than paying 29 bucks to get an animated short movie and a req pack. Period
AND FINALLY, let’s try to get stick to the point of my thread. Blitz need maps kind of ASAP

Mmm…cheesecake plains, cookie crumble mountains, chocolate rivers, etc. That sounds like a delicious new map!
Seriously though, I agree we need more Blitz maps as soon as possible.
