Halo wars 2 is good. Blitz mode is a great mode. Please please let me pay for more maps or incorporate them. This game mode is great for a 10 minute epic brawl. Please focus on this mode! For the longevity of the game please incorporate more Blitz mode maps.
Blitz has been great this weekend in the 12 games I’ve played of it mostly 1v1 on PC, subbing random people trying out the free beta for UE purchasers increased the game quality massively so far, haven’t matched against anyone more than 2 ranks above or below me. Haven’t lost yet but they’ve all been engaging rather than people ending up just sitting in base for 3 minutes after losing a fight. And no I haven’t seen anyone with significantly higher level cards then me (I haven’t bought any) yet.
Forcing a more mixed army composition and keeping all the attention directly on the combat/maneuvering really makes it all about micro which is enjoyable. Not really strategy based, but micro/multi-tasking different locations is still a skill. Glad they are at least considering expanding on Blitz’s maps/modes.
