blitz is the gamemode for...

people like me!, who might not be the best at base building, and resource extracting. but still would love to play an RTS. this game mode, makes me want to buy the game and learn the original way to play more!, this was a great addition to the game from a newbie perspective and seriously considering this game now

I can see that.

Personally I’m missing the base aspect of it but I do enjoy the matches when I’m playing with others and crazy stuff happens.

it’s a very good starting mode i feel, so you can learn what does what. i played the first beta, and was just so lose i would just build 30/30 infantry and hope. i feel like in this, since it shows you exactly where everything is. i can better statergize what i call in, as well as if i am losing an engagement, pop in a tank instantly and hope that can that changes the tide.

as i said, this mode is drawing me in, it’s friendly, quick. and easy to understand. but i do see myself graduating up to the base building eventually

Oh yeah, that it is.

I feel this could even be it’s own Free to Play release on it’s own.
It’s kinda “Just 5 more minutes” mode, so no doubt it will drag a lot of people in, both the enthusiast and more casual of RTS players, it probably even caters to the MOBA genre players in it’s strategy.

It’s a good mode to give you a feel of the units, counters and over-all unit placement too. What you need to consider is that if you place units outside your base they spawn with a 8 sec “fatigue” de-buff which reduce their HP and Damage by 50% (to my understanding) so even when ‘tide’ or ‘panic’ popping down units it’s important to place them correctly and on the other side attack them and try to get the units down when they are at their most vulnerable.

Blitz is ok for me but I can see and respect your viewpoint. Thanks for being in the community! Someone who is willing to learn how to play instead of saying “this game should be more like other games because I am good at those” to me is a positive thing.
