Blitz firefight lost in action, improvement ideas

I think it is a shame that blitz fire fight is over looked it is a great mode, but at the moment once people have the achievements for it there isn’t a reason to play it, which is a shame. I have some ideas of ways to make it better:

  1. Give us XP for playing it, but limited like the campaign XP so players don’t take advantage of it.
  2. Add the new leader’s units, so the computer can use them to attack us
  3. Let the computer use some leader powers that would mix it up a bit
  4. Let the players make their own deck just for blitz fire fight, where you could mix and match 12 cards from all the leaders, e.g. have a chopper and a Cyclops in the same deck. (I did have a forum just about this before)
  5. Maybe let us get some packs of cards for getting to high waves, but also limited like the campaign, so players don’t take advantage of it.

If anyone has any other ideas to make it better it would be good to hear them

xp doesn’t help or entice me. I feel like most people who play this game as their main have already been rank 50 for about 3 months now. What I would love is if they increased the rank cap to 100, much like Battlefront did with each new dlc. The number doesn’t matter so much for me as the free blitz pack with each level did.

I have discussed this issue many of times on this message board. Blitz firefight is a dying game mode. A good way to revive it is have customized options. The ability to increase or decrease energy. Change difficulty levels and add the flood to the mode. That way the users get to practice their strategies with the cards they earned. Hopefully the right person reading this post would consider this idea.

I think that is a good idea anything to make it better and worth playing would be good

Personally for new comes to the game XP would be liked and extra packs of cards would be a good idea, I am rank 50, but I still think it is good.

I have fun playing this mode but I find too hard in solo and my friend is rarely on HW2 these days, heres my suggestions to add.

  1. Reduce the difficulty in solo. (Or I need to git gud)
  2. Make it so that we can find other players online to play with in Matchmaking.
  3. Why did 5 Decimuses annilated my army?

I completely agree with what your saying I think also commendations are needed just in general and FFMP would massively help.

That is a good idea having a matchmaking side to it, like on matchmaking where you can play 3v3 AI.
I too have found it harder on solo, only been able to get to wave 30, but with my friend got to 45 easy, so making it a bit easier on solo would be good.
Yeah some of the army’s the AI has can be very random at the moment.
And commendations would be great, something to play for, and you could earn packs or XP for lower ranks.

Add multiplayer, that’s all.

It would make more people play it, which would be good.

Firefight can be pretty fun once it starts getting challenging, but it can be a chore to find friends, and the blitz packs come in painfully slow. To make blitz firefight a little more appealing, it needs online matchmaking and have blitz pack rewards. Every 50 waves competed could reward 5 packs, once per day or something alone those lines. Also leaderboards would be pretty neat.

I have a new suggestion, how about we add some kind of bonus wave?
The bonus wave would happen after every difficulty spike. (Every 5 waves)
After the wave 25, (Nightmare difficulty start) every bonus wave would happen each 7-8 waves. (2 Bonus Waves each in 15 Waves.)
So the order would be like this (after the following waves): 5-10-15-20-25-32-40-47-55-etc…
The Bonus Wave spawns lots of energy pods and you have 30 Seconds to pick all of them before the time runs out.
The Bonus Wave also gives time for player to set back-up if needed.
Yesterday, I was playing a match of Blitz Firefight on my own and by wave 20, my troops were wiped out and the problem with that is that I couldn’t make a new army with my remaining energy strong enough that would be able to deal with the enemy. The lack of free time between waves also didn’t help…
Bonus Waves would give players the energy and time required to make a new line of defense that can fight-off the hordes, making it more enjoyable for players who lost their units.

I’d also suggest that the Blitz would have more chance to drop cards unique to the Leader you played to get it.

I like this idea as well. Even with customized features it would still be interesting.

They are really good ideas, it would improve a lot, I like the idea of the bonus waves and the energy, that would be great

That is a good idea for the packs of cards, that would help new comes level up their decks.

I just want to say thanks to all the people that have come up with ideas, they properly won’t do anything, but it would be nice if the developers did something with Blitz fire fight.

I agree it’s nice to have the thought that the debts and mods are in partnership with what we as fans want to see, and how to improve both parties product. Having our insights taken into consideration gives us the satisfaction knowing that they are more than just making a profit, they really want the product to be second to none.

Just got to hope the developers look at this forum and the others that have been done about blitz fire fight and actually do something now.
