So watching Blitz gameplay in Halo Wars 2 got me thinking.
Blitz seems like it would be a fairly decent basis for a card game, similar to Yu-Gi-Oh or Magic: the Gathering. We’ve already seen that 343 are willing to expand into non-video games, with the likes of Fleet Battles; and Blitz is already literally about using a deck of cards. It just seems like you’ve got a pretty good basis for a trading card game or something like Hearthstone.
You would have unit cards which would equate to the monster cards, and the leader power cards would equate to the likes of Spell/Trap cards from Yu-gi-oh. You could even have special Hero cards like Chief or the Arbiter with thier own unique abilities.
Just a thought. Would anyone else be interested in a Halo TCG?
