Bleedthrough has to come back in Halo 4

I could not stand its absence in Reach. It was one of the most unfair, unbalanced, illogical, gamebreaking mechanics introduced in Reach. Right up there with Armour Lock.

When somebody has a mere sliver of shielding left, and I have full shields, and punch them, they should die. It is totally unfair that he can survive despite having too little health to deserve survival, and use this unfair survival to melee me back, putting us on completely even ground, despite the fact that I was winning, and should have won the fight, no questions asked.

Almost every game I play, I feel robbed of a kill I deserved, same thing if I’m watching someone else play. I see them get robbed of numerous kills they should have got. They go to melee someone with just a sliver of shields left, while they have slightly less health so that their shield is gone, and they melee first. Instead of being rewarded with the kill they deserved for having better reflexes, they die, and the slower player wins the fight without deserving it.

This is disgusting, bleedthrough needs to come back in Halo 4, as it was in Halo CE, Halo 2, and Halo 3.

Sign (thank) this if you agree, bleedthrough must return!

First off I like the gamertag

Edit: It is in Anniversary gametypes as of right now so it will probably be added on as a customizable feature if I had to guess

I have hated bleedthrough since Halo 1. Without it, the game can become better and allow the smarter and more patient player to win. With bleedthrough it just turns the game back into rushing forward and exchanging kills with a high-five.

Yes, they did add it back in TU, but then they removed it. I was really angry when it got removed, it made TU totally redundant. It was so much better with bleedthrough, but then they went and took it out. It was almost cruel, to give players that sweet little taste of a good game, then yank it away.

BTW thanks for the gamertag compliment, I love Avatar! ; )

How is this different from non-bleedthrough gametypes? It’s not. In fact, it’s worse.

So people can get a few shots in then just beat you down? no thanks. health seperated from shields is the best thing to happen to halo.

When bleed through came back it was just like halo 3 all over again people just shooting a little then getting a beatdown kill. thats why they removed it from the TU.

Sure as a custom games option but not in matchmaking.

I want Bleedthrough back 100% In HALO 4
Seeing as the health system is similar to H3’s then Reach’s and 343i said No to Health packs im going to say we have a 77.53% chance Bleedthrough is back

Math !!!

No, they removed it from the TU because there was a health-pack glitch.

Ask yourself this: Why should 3 shots and a melee be equal to one melee?

Ask yourself this, why should someone who i just shot their sheilds down to nothing, be able to spray me and beat me down for a traded? he didnt even get my shileds down all the way but OUP because of bleedthrough he gets the kill?

Its not happening man. There is a reason why this thread has over 50 views and not a single thanks.

Because you got shot? If he did enough damage to kill you, he rightfully deserves that kill. By your logic, we should take out headshot bonuses as well.

Looks like it has a few now

Its worked in other Halo games just fine
ITS DIDN’T WORK IN REACH BECAUSE OF THE HEALTH SYSTEM AND THE HEALTH PACKS THAT IS ALL NOTHING ELSE

I could care less what your opinion is man its not coming back. Its just simply not balanced that people can get a few shots in and beat you down for an easy kill. Having shields and health separated greatly cut down on kill trading and players that make bad decisions being able to trade.

You will see at E3 buddy just mark my words.

Now if you will excuse me I have games to play with friends.

Good day

Halo is an arena shooter. Without Bleedthrough, it feels like it has just been robbed of one mechanic that made the game fun and fast paced. When TU had bleedthrough idk if it was just me but the game played at a faster pace.

After watching [REDACTED]**, it doesn’t look like it’s returning.

It’s not balanced to not have bleedthrough. It’s totally broken and unfair.

Fact.

I mean seriously, anyone who wants bleedthrough out pretty much wants Halo 4 to be a bad game, along with being labelled Reach 2. Close quarters combat is completely broken in Reach because of it’s absence. I become enraged at it every time I play, at least a few times.

There was never any anger caused by bleedthrough in Halo 3, if you died, you know you deserved to die. If you get a kill, you know you deserved it. Period.

I like bleedthrough.

Bleedthrough needs to come back, and melee power needs to be drastically reduced.

> Bleedthrough needs to come back, and melee power needs to be drastically reduced.

They can’t really reduce it’s power, you wouldn’t even notice the reduction since it would still be a 2 shot kill.

Unless you’re suggesting the absurd, making the melee more then a 2 shot kill. It would be far too weak and useless if it was anything more then 2 melees to kill. Melee only works as a 2 shot, if it is a 1 shot it would obviously be extremely over powered, and if it was a 3 shot, it would be completely useless. If it was 4 shot or more, it may as well be taken out of the game.
