Blaze of Glory, or The Oathsworn,
Everyone I know that plays Halo 5 prefers the Blaze over the Oathsworn here’s why,

Range
Reload time
Just those 2 things make me like it better than the oath, the oath is like a regular shotgun with a speed boost, imagine Blaze with speed booster armor mod on. OP.

honestly Blaze should be tho it should a legendary for crying out loud
The blaze has the range of like an smg and reloads in super fast while the oathsworn is basically a lawgiver with a speed boost. They should give the it 12 shots in each clip similar to how the shotgun was in halos ce and 2 and give it a higher fire rate to make it more like of mythic weapon
Blaze is godly, the range is crazy. Oathsworn is like the Blaze’s forgotten cousin lol
Both of them are equally good. You just got to be good and use them skillfully and strategically.

Lol its an ultra rare mythic so i would use it at least i just dont like it much
Another comparison to think about: blaze vs. scattershot. Same req level and rarity, but totally uneven power
i dont even use that garbage shotty, heck id rather have a lawgiver, and when i get the oath in packs i just sell it.

The only reason Oathsworn is mythic is because it’s Kelly’s shotgun. That’s it. It’s pretty much the same as the Lawgiver, in terms of stats, but with a speed boost bundled in too (which makes sense, given its owner). It’s kind of neat from a lore standpoint, but it doesn’t really translate well to gameplay and is just rather boring. It can be fun when you add extra speed boosts, but it’s generally not worth the REQ energy. Blaze of Glory is borderline OP though. Not to mention it drops incredibly frequently from REQ packs (at least for me anyway). Blaze of Glory is definitely the way to go.
I would use the Oathsworn if it had increased ammo capacity such as the amount of shotgun shells Halo CE had. Also if it had explosive after effect such as oni gauss turret.

Maybe not mythic unless they give Halo CE Shotgun range.
Weird. Am I the only one who actually kinda likes the Oathsworn?
Then again, I also seem to be one of those weird people who actually likes the Suppressor…
The Oathsworn’s only saviors are it’s unique paintjob and its association with Kelly-087. In short, it’s a Lawgiver with an unlimited speed boost.
Just get a Blaze of Glory and the Upgraded Thrusters / Speed Booster armor mod.
I think blaze should probably have the speed boost. It would have its pros and cons it would make it more of and an attacking req and less useful as a defensive and stealthy req making you show up on radar more often.
