Good luck to those legit players out there trying to win. This has been brought to the attention of multiple 343 employees and thus far all that’s been done is attempt to cover it up.
boosting is obvious they will all get DQ but there is always settle ways that will go unnoticed to everyone.

this is not something new in general, it happened before the i.challenges.
it just introduced kids back to standby, ip flooding and etc because of some trinkets.

You dont get it. Its not even about that. Its about preventing the forums from being spammed full of “OMG ban this booster look at his games!”
These forums are not the place to catch cheaters, and even if you can PROVE they cheat that evidence will not lead to their ban, 343’s internal process will and their automatic banhammer.

How about so you can look up your stats, becaue its fun to. Not like many websites have been created for that sole purpose.
And I’m sure they have their reasons for making you use your GT for your username. Perhaps more connectivity between waypoint and LIVE.

I highlighted the important part and you may have missed the sarcasm involved. Theater mode also seems rather pointless given that it would be against the rules to post a link to your fileshare… whenever that’s possible.

I fear you have missed my point completely. I’ll try to be a bit more specific. Linking to some one’s profile, for the purpose of calling them out, is prohibited. Same for stat flaming, flaming, etc. Does that make sense?
Linking to your fileshare to share your maps or videos or screenshots is fine, so long as it’s posted in the proper forum.
Linking to some one’s GT or stats for the sole purpose of calling them out or flaming them is a no go. Regardless of guilt or innocence. It’s not the forums purpose to pass judgement on members, or put them on display for public ridicule. If people are cheating, 343i are well aware of it. Trust me. There is much more that goes on behind the scenes that you and I are not privy too.
We are aware of this issue and working with -Yoink!- Gaming to ensure that illegitimate players are ineligible for prizes. Thank you!

No, I get your point, it’s fine in theory, but in reality it’s counter productive, because as with anything there are exceptions.
For instance, a police officer might pull you over for running a red light, but when you stop and show them that your wife is in labor, they make an exception.
Paying customers want to see action. I’m fully aware that 343i knows about the cheating going on, yet it continues. It took almost 2 months to fix headless spartans in SWAT. And the 14 day, buy, and play debacle left a really bad taste in the customers mouths. I’ve already seen legit players give up on the infinity challenge competition because they feel it’s unwinnable the way it’s being managed.
It really isn’t a surpise, when you do anything FFA, it is easy to boost. Just take a buddy with you and kill each other all day. That’s why you only do FFA tournaments in person.
