I was playing some Halo Reach Forge today and I was using other people’s file-shared maps. Then it struck down all the names for profanity and labeled them all as ‘Blam!’, any reason why?
Basically the map names will be in violation of the XBL terms of service. Either profanity or something else they don’t like. Don’t worry about it.
They also do that on gamertags.

There was no profanity though, it was called Chippy’s Obstacle Course

Other things can be the name is too long as well. Sorry if I misled you it is not just profanity. it is a whole heap of things and they wont give any guidelines so it either works or it doesn’t but I have always struggled to get long map names accepted.
Maybe it’s because Bungie uses the word “-blam!-” to filter out profanity on their website/forum.
