Ive played 3 Big team battles where right after the match loads the game freezes and screen goes black and also once in mid game the game went to black screen and freezes and the only thing you can do is quit to get out. Its done it on halo ce and halo 2 classic for sure.
Try quitting out of the game completely and hard resetting your xbox.
