My apologies if this had already been confirmed previously, but please tell me they’re bringing black undersuits back for MP. The colored ones in Halo 4 and Halo: Guardians are fugly as all hell.
Hopefully they will be in the game given armor pieces can be seen better when armor is not all the same plasticky colored mass.
The camo is really underappreciated in previous Halo games and brightening characters just made things worse given they didnt have much shading to them if any even if environment was darker.
I mean, sure it might effect the balance if you can better blend to environment but there is already such things as cloak and its everyones personal choice whether they want to use more earthly or darker color (or white for snow maps) or whether they want their bright red armor pieces.
Chief has his black undersuit back in the trailer! Think we are in luck here.

I agree. Can’t say I’m a fan of how much they brightened the armor colors in H4/H5. The reds and blues almost border on looking like pastel shades. Combine that with the overall art direction of those games, and Halo has gotten a little too… cartoony for my tastes.
I’ve always thought that people overstated how much players with darker-colored armors would have an unfair advantage on darker maps. I’ve never found that to be the case, personally. Which is why for this game, I’d like to see darker color shades introduced (What I would give for navy blue armor). Maybe even camo patterns.
