So 343 Industries are certainly listening. They fixed up firefight and various arena playlists. They added fan-favorite guns and vehicles. They allowed us to mix up the announcers. They even hinted at bringing back long lost and beloved armors in 2017.
Now, does that mean the next update will be similar? 343 certainly answered a load of fan requests and complaints in the current update. From what I know, there are only a few outstanding desires left from the community; namely black undersuits. What do you guys think? Think we’ll get a colored suit option with our nostalgic helmets?

I thought of that too, but that could be a slippery slope. We’re suppose to be super soldiers, not neon soldiers.

That… probably wouldn’t work too well. First off, its not lore friendly in the slightest. Second, most of their armors have muted military colors. Its rather hard to compliment their armors colors without looking dumb.

I mean, Hunter and especially Helljumper look much better with their custom campaign undersuits, which fill in more of the gaps and make the armor actually look a bit more protective. I hope in Halo 6 we could get more undersuit options than the default power ranger one.

I see where you’re coming from, I just think that the more time investing/elite players should have more distinctive features to stand out.

Achilles? I would heavily object if they added Black Undersuits behind an achievement, and I’d immediately qualify if it was 100!. More distinctive features should be cooler/unique armor, not an element of the art style that is so notably requested.

That’s fair, even though rarer armor is given out at random it’s still hard to get until later levels.

I was thinking that we could get access to the undersuits from the campaign and perhaps a few extra styles -it would not be neon colors. I would rather have camos like the traditional army greens, artic version, etc. Since we’re asking for so much already, why not ask for one more thing. How cool would it be if we could also obtain the ability to change our HUD to one of the 8 custom styles from the campaign? They could even sweeten the deal by allowing us to change the colors of the individual styles CRAZY INCOMING What if we could chose to have a yellow health bar, purple weapon feed, and a blue radar? Being able to mix and match a variety of preset combinations between the styles. We could go further into this madness by maybe mixing the custom hubs. ie: Chief’s health bar, Buck’s radar, and Tanaka’s weapon feed.
I wouldn’t mind the undersuit being unlocked as a tertiary color so we can have it as whatever color we want; Black, for those that want it, while those that like the undersuit design can keep it.
