So ever since Halo 2A has came out, my halo launcher seems to be freezing right after the Xbox and 343 industries logos. I get a black screen every time. A day later, i figured out that i can play the halo 2 campaign, but not the multiplayer. Whenever i download the multiplayer it goes right back to the black screen. I already verified the files on steam after installing it and restarted my pc. I was wondering if anyone else have been coming across this issue. And if you did solve it, what did you do? Really trying to play Halo 2A multiplayer, thanks.
Same here. I even tried downloading the steam client and Mcc on a different hard drive. Last time I played, I crashed a few times while playing halo 2 multiplayer, but the last crash gave me the same problems you are having (black screen). I’m going to try to uninstall just halo 2A multiplayer and see if it works. I’ll let you know.
Update: yup halo 2 is causing the crash. Go to the mcc properties in the steam library and turn off halo 2 (probably just multiplayer) and hope if there is a future fix lol. You could at least play reach or anniversary.

Are you on Steam? Have you verified integrity of game files?
Have you tried deleting the MCC folder under C:\Users\NIKOLAJSKOLUNOVS\AppData\LocalLow\MCC ?
Yes on steam, Game Crashes to Black Screen after 343 logo every single time since HALO 3 update. I have to hard reset pc, not alt enter, or alt tabbing or ctrl alt delete works. Its like the reciever/tv lose the hdmi input signal and it wont recover. This only started after the halo3 update. I am playing in fullscreen mode/4k on 2080TI card. I did verify the integrity of the game files, and i uninstalled and reinstalled the entire game. WHen I do this it works ONCE and lets me go to the main menu and play the game. Next time I start it up, back to the black screen every time?
