Black screen of DEATH!

i just picked up MCC again the weekend past. Had a good session yesterday but today once the session is connected and it goes to the map loading screen, once it hits the end of the loading part the screen just goes black, like no audio, no picture no nothing! This has happened a few times now and I’m concerned it will result in a ban as I’ve no idea if I’m even getting into the game.

anyone experienced similar?

Try a hard reset of the Xbox then go back into MCC. But no I haven’t experienced anything like that in a really long time.

And I thought I’m the only one.

Can you see the game on the HaloWaypoint match results, like the stats pages? Does it show you as completing the game?

Tra to restart a console or in the game and aps find if you are an update for the mcc

Sounds like a silent error of the game client and the console not crashing the application because it thinks it is still running fine. You may not have to completely restart the Xbox, but do quit the app from the dashboard and test to see if the issue happens again.
