I play alot of BTB, Team Slayer, SWAT etc. I have had most issues in BTB. What I hate the most is I am playing a BTB game then all of a sudden the black screen comes up. We’ll when the black screen goes away I come back to a respawn screen. Like basically I am standing still and other players don’t have the black screen then they kill me. That really needs to be fixed or something. I mean sometimes it restarts the whole BTB game.

Are you sure that you have an open NAT and your networking hardware and connection is in working order?
Admittedly I don’t play Reach anymore due to the shocking host selection and idiotic quit ban that forces me to play on yellow to red-bar connections often.
Constantly trading or not having actions register along with the occasional black screen was enough to drive me away. If I have to play a lousy connection to host I choose Halo 3 as that game is actually fun.

the server in my opnion was written better in halo 3. Reaches setup black screens and pings over things so easy…IMO i think it is still slightly bugged and hard to work around. I could be wrong but with all the TU’s we had nothing has changed the networking!
