I’m familiar with Halo having a history going into our “favorite” screen, and various things on the maps reset: Weapons, vehicles, etc.
However, early Monday, I had a BTB match on.Settler that was going on normally. Then suddenly, black screen. When it was done, not only was the vehicles and weapons respawned, the whole match was reset, as if it never happened. Score was Zero for both teams.
Either I have finally lost it, or have I ran into another thing that needs to be addressed? Has anyone else encountered this situation as well?
Happened to me in Dominion twice in a row. Both times we were beating the enemy team, and I remember at least one we ended up losing because nobody stays for a black screen/JIP match.
I get that when I connect to a host from Australia/New Zealand.

They don’t say us Aussies are down under for nothing. Pretty much every time I pull host the players in other countries have a hard time. I find it equally as hard when I’m playing on US host too.
Thank you guys for assuring me that I wasn’t imagining a match in my head for 5 minutes, while occasionally saying obscenities at the search screen. It would have been really awkward to explain it.
I hope this gets resolved sometime in the series. :s

With everything ,except for a volcano, being hostile to human beings there, you deserve to give players a hard time.
