How would you like to have an emblem editor like the one in black Ops? One that allows you to move, scale, and layer your emblem with tons of pictures. I think that’s the only thing CoD has done that is interesting. And to those complainers about dirty/degrading pictures being made. Get over it! Welcome to the Internet! It’s full of immature kids.
No, I don’t want to see Halo infested with stupid, sexual, and marijuana-filled emblems.
Eh, it might be nice but it’s not really necessary. I’m perfectly happy with the current emblem creator, complicating it might even make it worse as it makes it less military-like. I know Halo isn’t the most stringent game in that regard but it has a certain air to it which this might degrade.
I’m fine with Halo’s style right now. Although I’m fine with the old Team Slayer scoring but they ruined that too…

In Black Ops, there’s some very immature and racist emblems. I hope nothing like this is put in Halo. But I would like way more things to put in the emblem so everyone’s can be unique

Man, people just say no to everything that has possible potential, 343 could easily excluded the creation of offensive emblems or create some kind of filtering system for that. I would like to make my emblem look really unique and have the ability to place it on either shoulder, back, chest or wrist, I think it could work if it’s done properly with traditional Halo emblems and some very creative new ones.

Why encourage that sort of behavior?
I honestly don’t see why not. It’s an M rated game, and online is always worse than the game actually is. Also, it gives an entire new level to emblems.
Something superior to the black ops emblem editor.

I’m guessing each emblem has it’s own binary signature, so 343 could have a program that detects the binary combination of two emblems or more, that once put together create something offensive. Once the program detects this it could just block it and replace it with some default emblem like a unicorn or a wolf. It’s like the language filter on this forum. Each letter has a binary code to it, for example F’s is 00110 U’s is 10101 C’s is 00011 and K’s is 01011, so if a collection of letters are put together in a particular order; 00110101010001101011, the system recognizes the binary signature of the profanity and the filtering program will instantly convert the word to YOINK! when the post is launched. It’s a bit more complicated than that, but you get the gist. The same would apply to the game except it would be a little more complex than a profanity filter.

This was already considered way back during Halo 2 when the idea of emblems came up. You can already guess why they didn’t go through with it…
I wouldn’t mind seeing a emblem creator, but I don’t want to be seeing tons of emblems based around sexual things and drugs, if there was a upload system that had to be approved before you can use it, then I would be all for it.

I’m not encouraging anything. Im simply saying that there is nothing you can do about it. Immature people will be immature.
343 could easily make a feature that blocks all enhanced emblems and shows random simple emblems.
