I just saw the video of RUL on APEX 7 and at the end of the video like 17:43 appears the Binary rifle (Legendary card of it) but it’s incredible useless…
What do you guys think about it?
I think that Greenskull is a really bad sniper. Like he’s said in previous videos
But the mode of fire it’s different like a double Sentinel Beam, it’s like the covenant sniper rifle on reach that it’s a little dumb because you can see the beam for a long time so everyone can see where are you

yeah it reminded me of the reach beam too. I hated that thing.
Still one shot kill if you’re accurate
That is a different Binary Rifle, Anti armor best used to takeout vehicles. The regular Binary rifle should still be there.

To me, the gameplay seems like that the BiRi, is more like the Star Wars Battlefront 2 beam rifle (or the Tusken Hunter’s bolt action rifle if you played hunt on mos eisely) to me.
Sigh, that is a special variant, the normal one still fires a single shot not the splitting beams.
The main difference is that the Shot now does damage over time as instead of all damage occuring at once. Its still a OHK. Here is some gameplay of one that is closer to the default: Link.
The binary rifle he is using in that video is meant to be used against vehicles, mainly. If you’re pretty good with it, you can kill players in one charge.

Ahh that’s pretty cool, haven’t seen it. Doesn’t seem like you can hold it down continuously, so I assume the standard Binary has less rounds and something else I guess?
god forbid they take out one, 1-hit kill option from the plethora you have available…

In all likelyhood the usual 2. The BiRi in that clip was described as having more ammo per magazine while the V variant had the usual two(and mag size was not mentioned), so I assume the unmodified variant just has 2.
It might just be because it was a Req pack model. A lot of the tier 2/3/Mythic weapons function differently from the base model, like the SAW with explosive rounds, or the rocket launcher that shoots 3 rockets at once in a V pattern.
If the Binary rifle does turn out to be like the focus rifle, however, I say good riddance. An instant fire, hit-scan weapon, that is a one shot kill, no matter where it hits you? Yeah, no, that is stupid and frustrating. I would rather have a useless weapon than one that is just too powerful.
