The name. I hopped online with my friend yesterday and he was completely confused by the name TU ZB Slayer, as I’m sure many others are. The great thing was once he found out what the playlist was he loved it. The obvious solution is to give it a better name. Even “Zero Bloom Slayer” as opposed to “TU ZB Slayer” would give those who don’t take part in the online community a much better idea of what the playlist actually features.
Don’t forget changing the playlist details. I think it still says the playlist is for Beta testing.
Total agreement, ZB is obvious to those among forum frequenters, but to others, not so apparent.

My biggest problem is that the “Zero Bloom” playlist even exists. 343 needs to stop catering to whiners who suck. If you can’t work the original DMR don’t play Reach!

Why should they even listen to Vanilla players, they should learn to adapt to the zero bloom settings.

Zero Bloom is an option, it is not forced upon you, stop complaining.
The biggest problem with the ZB playlist is that it is not a hopper near the top. It is a great gametype, but 343i hides it at the bottom of the gametype list.
ZB is traditional Halo. Reach is not Halo.
343 should have release a video explaining the changes in the TU, and then made it mandatory to watch it and take a 5 question quiz on it before they could play matchmaking again. It would have informed every Reach player of the update effectively.

While I do agree there should be an even balance with proper names OP. The ZB playlist is pretty straightforward with its name and others which enter it understand the concept generally of a non-bloom playlist. All the same, default, T.U., and ZB each have their respective places. My only concerns about it currently is each ZB and Default Reach are limited to a single playlist while the majority resides in a T.U. setting.
With Halo 4 around the corner, I’d like to see more involvement in the ZB and Vanilla settings slowly becoming more open in MM.
@SKROTO - While not against the forum rules, I do want to remind you that stating an opinion such as “reach is not Halo” is asking for a flame war. Please avoid statements like that since flame baiting IS against forum rules.
I didn’t know what it meant until I read this thread and I read the forums pretty much every day or 2. I read the description and just thought ZB meant zombie beta or something.
Agreed. They could have made a way better name then that tu zb slayer is just lame. I think zero bloom slayer would be a good name too.
