What do you think is the biggest difference in high and low level arena gameplay (ffa, swat, slayer, team arena, doubles)?
Edit: Check out lickmyb4c0n’s post and dead end 24’s post. Best ones so far.
Please don’t respond with “people are better in high level arena” as that is a given.
For me, I would say the biggest difference is ninja’s. They are much more common in higher level gameplay and are not treated as you trying to be disrespectful. It is more seen as you trying to make a good play.
If you go for a ninja in lower levels and fail, you will most likely get t-bagged. If you go for a ninja in high level arena and fail, the enemy will just keep playing and not drop a bag.
This is not to say that it doesn’t happen. I am just speaking from my experience.
I have this one game where I’m pretty sure they were all defo pro smurfs. I could barely move an inch literally, it felt like they shot at me in a way that some how stunned me and I felt like I was moving really slowly. Only managed to get 2 kills by waiting for them to come to me but even then there was no sence of 1st hit.
This is 3 posts now that you have made almost a minute after each other about ninjas. First one was what was your best ninja, second was your ghost melee during a ninja and now this one. Is it an obsession? Also no ninjas are definitely not the difference. Faster gameplay and usually more teamwork is.

I was waiting for somebody to say something I made the first one and the inspiration hit me.
But…gameplay is much faster in higher level gameplay.
Low level players aren’t as aware or reactive… their shots aren’t as consistent, their strafe and movement is basic. They’re predictable… They’re impatient and will always challenge or chase a kill, even when they shouldn’t…
High level players move (or do not move) with a purpose… they’re better equipped for ALL scenarios they might find themselves in. They are aware of weapon spawns, powerful positions on map, how to use the environment and force encounters that are to their own advantage. They know their way around the map and various alternate routes and use Spartan Abilities proficiently to hit more advanced jumps, and when and when not to sprint. Good players also are naturally better shots, leaving you less room for error… react quicker, more unpredictable in their 1v1’s, can predict spawns reasonably accurately… there’s a certain Halo “instinct” that gives them an edge over the average player.
And there’s much more… you can totally see and sense it when you’re in a match too, what kind of player you’re up against.

This is perfect. Mind if I put it in my OP as best respond so far?

Short version, I’d say the biggest difference is two things.
low level players don’t communicate or aren’t willing too
High level players skills with precision weapons (like the pistol) are EXTREMELY better.
As I keep telling my buddy who doesn’t play Halo 5 much, even if your not good, call things out. Even if you don’t know call outs, just try to talk and yes the automatics are a lot better in Halo 5, but the pistol is where it’s at. Get good with the pistol and you’ll be fine.
Side note Not saying all low level players don’t communicate, just saying generally.

Swat
Low- people miss and move without care of placement, people rush and sprint into obvious death.
High- No one sprints or clambers, they stay ready to fire at all times, every bullet fired is a headshot, every step calculated with everyone watching each others back. Will domino after the first shot

People still sprint. It is just used better and at the right times.
well from what i have seen
high level players use the terrain to win. dont confront face to face, either go around the enemy or just go and seek another target. they dont get “sick” for killing the same player over and over again.
They play for a porpouse-flag, strongholds or slayer- they do what they have to do
use grenades to spot enemies, not to kill them in face to face confrontations
low player…well pretty much they are casual player, so the opposite from above.
im a low player, but i watch HCS and try to imitate those guys style of play…just try not succed…yet
