after watching several videos on tyhe halo 5 matchmaking im not to sure if i want to buy it anymore.
there are alot of things that have been added that are very controversial in the eyes of us halo fans .for example these 7 armor abilities they could be very well balanced as i have not played with them yet but from the videos they look fairly unbalanced like the ground pound for example is a one hit kill, thats like carying a power weapon from the start of the game.
i dont know if 343 look at these forums but on the halo 4 forum since its release, people where making topics asking 343 to get rid of sprint… there is still sprint in halo 5. there are several ways to balance sprint but making it so that you cant recharge your sheild while in sprint is not enough. in one of the videos it showed one of the pros useing a sword and sprint and it look OP as yoink. maybe making it so that you cant sprint while getting shot or something would make it alot better so that people cant charge at you with a sword or double beatdown.
another thing i seen alot on the halo 4 forums was that people wanted the 1-50 exp ranking system like halo 3’s. they have introduced a new system that looks interesting but if it isnt as good or as fun to rank up with alot of people will be very angry as they have been asking for the halo 3 ranking system back since reach.
people have been asking for the arena shotter to return to halo hopefully it has.
hopefully the halo 5 beta will prove me wrong but it isnt looking promising.

> They’re not armour abilities. Spartan abilities are available all the time for every player at once. The ground pound has been said by people who’ve played it to be very hard to aim correctly, as well as the fact that you give up the high ground to use it. So far, it looks balanced.

> Whilst hardcore Halo fans might not like it, Sprint is a standard feature for FPSes these days and will stop Halo from reaching mainstream appeal if it’s left out. Personally, it looks balanced enough to me. The PB+Thrust+Sprint thing has been noted by one of the pros, but good players will be able to thrust away, getting bulltrues and such. It’s only broken if you’re bad.

> How can you know how fun it is to rank up in if nobody has seen it yet? Plus, this new system is built by the same guy who did the Starcraft 2 ranking system, one of the most competitive games ever. Since Halo 5 is meant to be an Esports game, this is good. Plus, 1-50 had a lot of issues. De-Rankers, getting level-locked and more. This one looks like it will eliminate them.

Thus, I refute thee.
