If your gonna play on a team you gotta back up the team. Dont call for help because your being attacted yet its been over 20 min since the match started and you have built next to no army, all you have been doing is either leveling yup your leader or your bases. I cant cover my bases and yours at the same time so when i come to back you up i get taken out at the same time. I find some players expect help to come when they call for it but never have anything to to back up the team with. I just quit two games because of this and its something i cant stand in this game. I love this game and I still play the AI at times because i can handle the AI when it doesnt back me up. BUt when i have ten tanks and a teamate has less than three units built i can see how its gonna end. Also side note dont go and take out rebal bases for the other team. Yes your learder levels up but that just makes life eaiser for the other team. They dont have to do the work and they get a free base out of it.
Agree, or when you see them with a temple, 1 supply pad, and a air pad, vehicle pad, infantry pad all on 1 base and after 20 minutes they have their leader that’s been standing there the whole time, 1 banshee, 2 troops and a wraith. If your new, play against the AI for awhile to learn what to do before you handicap your team.

I made that mistake when it first came out. Learned pretty fast that you pretty much can only have two types of units till ur army is gonna be easy to kill
Yeah, I try my best to teach people how to play the game when I play 2v2 unarranged. What usually happens when they don’t listen to me is that I have to fight 2 people at the same time and fend them off for about half an hour until he breaks out with ODST or a Scarab. One time I got to this point and he didn’t move either of his Scarabs away from his base until it was way too late - very frustrating to say the least.
Sometimes I can get through to people, when they have a mic, and they learn more in the 15 minutes that we play than they have learned in 3 months of playing on their own.
When your team-mate doesn’t have a mic, sometimes it’s worth sending a message to them such as “Build lots of tanks please!!” or “Build nothing but flame throwers please.” You’d be surprised how often you can get them to work with you. You have to ensure that your instructions are as simple as possible though.

Lololololol. Too funny. I see this all the time when playing with or against recruits.
Unfortunately this happens far too often people seem to get side tracked and focus on their leader or think down a narrow path building only one unit and not adapting to the game for example enemy has hornets and still builds scorpion tanks
Scout, scout, scout. Build up your resources and analyze what your enemy is doing by scouting them and when you are ready to purchase reactors, pick either unit buildings and stick with it, until you have a secondary/multiple bases. Certainly listen to your teammates and check the map above often. Also, invest as much $$ as possible once you’ve built your army as well as using your D-pad frequently ( up is to reach your leader/ use special powers, right identifies latest occurrence such as attacks and building construction complete, left is to fast travel to your base(s) and down is to reach separated local units) and holding the left trigger will increase up your speed. And upgrade if you have the tech and the $$. Hopes this helps and good luck
