Big Thanks to 343i!

When I asked for the Kinect for Christmas, I knew it was a big risk based on how often I was going to use it. Then when E3 came around I heard that every game would have Kinect integrated. I was glad I got a Kinect, and was eager to see if and how 343i would implement it into CEA.

So, I just wanted to say thanks for 343i for help making the Kinect worth it for me!

Also, =( for those that don’t have it. I wish it was cheaper.

I don’t have one and I’m afraid I’ll never have enough justifications to buy it. I just don’t understand why these features can’t be optimized for a controller… :confused:

Exactly. I don’t even care for the voice controll. Let the kinect fans have that. But the analyze thing can EASILY be used with a controller. Thats what pisses me off.

exactly its so pointless and they will probably ruin halo 4 with this “kinect scam” too.

  1. They’re onviously wary or doing anything that could disrupt the original gameplay with a controller. (Sounds weak, I know). The idea is that you can experience the classic CE experience, but if you’ve got Kinect, or a 3D TV then you can enhance it.

  2. Its a Microsoft company. Microsoft wants to sell Kinect. So 343 puts exclusive features that are Kinect only to add reasons for buying one.

And I should point out: There is probably very little you’ll glean from Analyse that isn’t already documented somewhere else. Most of it will be ripped straight from things like the Halo Bible, novels and encylopedia.

I have a Wii. It combines playing a video game, with motion.

The Kinect you stand infront of a TV waving your arms around like a person.
