Big thanks to 343 Industries

I want to thank 343 Industries for all they have done. I have seen a lot negative post recently and thought it be nice to do one that thanks them. Despite what people say about the game they still play it. Which tells me they have done a great job. I have enjoyed the story they have given us, both game, live action movies, books, comics and audio. Bungie gave us lore. But 343 has given us more. When you have good guys and villains that people hate and/or love things were done right. Palmer has people that like and dislike her. Jul had the same thing. Heck a lot of people thought he died to easily. I am not saying 343 did it prefect, but then again no person, no company can do something prefect, there will be faults. But given the games that are out there, Halo still has a great core community, the number of fans grow and the game is still going. If you need proof the game is that proof. It is an Xbox only game. Where other games have to be on multiplier systems to do good. I have loved Halo since Halo CE. No other games beat it. If you want proof that 343 is doing a good, the fact they have created Halo 5 and are working on Halo 6 shows it. IF they weren’t doing good, they wouldn’t be able to continue. In my personally opinion 343 has really out done themselves. Two live action movies, a number of book series, several comics book arches and coverage of the pro sport side and thee best forge. The work they have done with the remasters. I hope to see more positive things in this forum so we as community can show our how much we appreciate the work they do. PLEASE ONLY POST POSITIVE THINGS. Go to the other forums to post negative things there are plenty of them.

one in a million.

how’d you get the classified emblem???

I think you’re right. I though maybe sad about Halo 5 story with about almost Master Cheif but realizing the story would have him just walking around doing none thing if you think about it.

Yes that is one thing I am sad about too. Wish we had more mission with Master Chief, but I did enjoy what we go with him and his team.

I agree with most of this. In many ways, 343 is trying extremely hard. I also understand that the community has grown rather toxic as of late. Unfortunately, they have a bit of reason to be. 343i has almost completely shut out the community in many areas. These monthly updates and REQ drops? They’re a new copout to drive away any questions about future content. There’s almost zero transparency with the development process anymore, and this leaves a yawning gap between what the community want and expects and what the studio actually does. Obviously, it’s not the place of the fans to completely dictate the future of the franchise, but they are the ones who play the games. It’s a terrible idea to shut them out of the process, which is what 343 is doing. As hard as they’re working, they’re not listening, which is the main problem.

If we had 2-3 more I would be happy with campaign but storyies and books pretty much explains Cheif in Halo 5.

I understand were you come from, but this forums show that someone listens. https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/forums/6e35355aecdf4fd0acdaee3cc4156fd4/topics/343-response-this-halo-community/85fe05aa-88bc-4257-9e1c-d5b98e638965/posts?page=3 but I believe it will be get better.

so true on all accounts.

343 thanks for halo 4 it was a hit with my friends and had lots of fun same goes for reach mcc was somewhat bad but it was awesome except for the crashes halo 5 do not know were to start it’s that good even though there’s no split screen and theatre was good except for somethings but assassinations are very creative I would have never thought of them and FFA was awesome same goes for every gametypes except FFA rockets and SWAT I personally did not like them but still had lots of fun 1 request make your weekend playlists permanent plz thanks for everything 343

I will not thank 343 till I’m free from my cage. I will tell them when they do something good or bad. But not thank them until I’m not in this cage anymore

Free range skate?

343 is trying to an extent I believe certain things like playable elite or perhaps team doubles they don’t care much for. Halo 6 for me will show just how much they can listen to community wishes. I hope that whatever happens, that 343 will be able to re-kindle my love for this game, because I did not play Halo 4 or 5 much. I don’t intend to bash because I know it is hard to listen to all community requests, but some requests are a bit too loud to be blown off at this point.

I agree wholeheartedly; while there as some issues that have come up with 343i as the lead developer of Halo, many of these are minor in comparison to the problems that Bungie had caused. Reach was a disaster, and prior to that the bugs/glitches/and general unbalanced gameplay in the multiplayer of Halo 2/3 were far beyond the oversights noted in Halo 5.

I wouldn’t say Halo 5 is my favorite Halo game, but I would say it is at least second on the list.

I believe 343i does deserve some commending, and it’s a shame that the talented designers, and developers over at their studio only get hate on these forums.

What? What do you mean by that.

…Really? When you make over 300+ posts centered around the same subject, where are those talented designers then? Why do people stick up for a studio who won’t even talk back to you on the most basic of levels? Cause they gave you something free? Cause they tried their hardest? Listen, if I don’t try my hardest to wake up and be at work on time, I get fired. Ain’t no message board pleading for my cause or case, so enough with the pats on the backs and the high fives; the money we’ve put in their pocket buying their hard effort should be reason enough to be thankful that Halo has a legacy that makes people concerned and drawn back to the series as whole.

But sure, compliments on making a video game, they got that part right.

I just wanna point out, I’ve seen several several complaints about 343 dropping dlc every month, and how a large chunk of the population thinks what they added should’ve been in the game at launch, yet whenever I check out information about upcoming dlc, I see quite a few posts about how excited the community is, and how they’ll come back and play it to try it out. From what I can tell, 343 has found a way to hold their fans interest, not consecutively, but in bursts. If you think about it, it allows gamers to play the new halo additions, get some time in, then go play whatever other game they might be interested in, then come back later for the next add on, get their fill, and so on. It’s an interesting cycle. (Also thanks for making a pretty solid game 343)

Great job 343, our Spartan company wants to thanks you, Phoenix Of War. Personally I really like the competitive balance in Halo 5, it is very aggressive but not gory, it is sportsman like. Good clean competition. It is like a combination of rugby, football, strategy, and of course an fps. If you can think it in you own head you can perform it in the game, more or less. One thing I would like to see you add, would be the ability to grab and hold another player while your team mates take him out, LOL. Anyways, as far as games go in my humble opinion Halo 5 is the best vid game ever created I am 49 and have bin playing since about 10 years old. Keep working on a good clean competitive sportman’s form of gaming. Stay away form the scuzzy side of the genre please thanks. Keep up the good work please. And be encouraged, it is more than just a game. Brent
