Big Team Map Design

It’s kind of meh, so far compared to previous titles. It feels like lane-based design is prevalent for most of the maps, and there are a lack of man cannons and teleporters outside of the main base, making traversal incredibly tedious without a vehicle, even with Sprint.

The game is fun, but maps seem to be larger Arena maps than true BTB maps.

Yea they are all pretty bad. We need some classics back. Blood Gulch, Zanzibar, Headlong, Waterworks, Terminal, Sidewinder would all be most welcome. This game is supposed to be out 10 years so let’s make this happen. The Halo for everyone. And not spiritual remakes either. Remastered for sure.

At least they’re not Halo 4’s Exile. Notoriously the most poorly designed map of all time. But yeah, Fragmentation should just be Valhalla

Fragmentation feels really congested with not enough room for ground vehicles to maneuver and Deadlock is just kind of uninspired honestly. I like Highpower a lot though and I usually have the most fun on that map.

I mean I really like highpower but some other designs would be cool to see. Man if we got a new Valhalla/Ragnarok I would be so happy.

Apparently Fragmentation is supposed to be that, but I don’t see it at all outside of the base areas. There’s no room for vehicles to move.
