Hello,
I’ve never purchased any DLC for Halo Reach. But I did by Halo Anniversary and redeemed the code for those maps to be playable in Reach. But what I’m wondering is, since I have the Anniversary Map pack, and if I were to play Big Team Battle playlist, would it include those Anniversary maps in it, or does Big Team Battle playlist only include the default/stock maps?
Because I want to play Big Team Battle in a playlist that includes both the default/stock maps AND the Anniversary maps.
I assume (happy to be corrected if required) that if you get a match in BTB and everyone in it has the DLC there’s a possibility you’ll get a DLC map as an option.
I went into Firefight Arcade yesterday and got Installation 04 as an option. So obvioulsy everyone in the game had it and it showed up! I would imagine it works the same way in every game type.
Yeah, and then I have to deal with the Anniversary style settings being thrown in there as well, where there’s no Sprint ArmorLock/etc. and the overpowered pistol.
But I feel that that is a poor setup. What it should do, is have it realize that I have only the Anniversary map pack DLC, and then have me only be paired with those who have at least the Anniversary map pack or something. I want to say that that is how CoD works, but not 100% sure.
