The reason why is, it the same game modes on the same maps. There are plenty of other maps that could be played on but no. I’m tired of playing on Ragnarok every single time. It’s always slayer or capture the flag, which gets boring pretty quick. Why did they take out Dominion on BTB? As popular BTB is, I would like to know why it’s never been updated since the removal of Dominion. Heck, I like Complex and Exile but come on. There are 7 map choices out of 24. Now I understand most players do not have the DLCs which was a waste to buy, but COME ON. Add other maps on there. Also add other game modes. How many of you guys get bored of BTB aswell? Doesn’t it get repetitive? All I’m saying is Halo 4 had so much potential but lack of community work by 343i made this game fail. Anyone remember how hyped up Dominion was and then only was playable for 3 months? God I can’t wait for Halo 5 cause I’m tired of Ragnarok, Complex, Exile, Longbow, Meltdown, Ravine, and Vortex. What a disaster BTB is.
The good news, for you if you stick with Halo, is that MCC will have more than enough maps to keep us happy for years. No DLC problems.
343 seems to be done updating Halo 4 all together. Playlists and broken achievements alike. If this is true, many wont get to experience the 100+ maps (console cost will turn many away if 343 doesn’t support its products).
I have to agree, it’s the same with Reach, I paid, like so many others, for DLC, but never get to play them, there is no support for the games whatsoever from 343i, I miss having Bungie to be honest looking after Halo, they knew how to treat their “paying” fans. By adding updates, new gametypes, letting us play DLC, even the weekend events some of which they played with us. I know there are other things 343i are working on, but that is no excuse whatsoever to turn your backs on the paying community. Don’t get me wrong, I love all the Halo games so far, but the complete lack of community support puts me off wanting to buy any future products made by 343i. Especially if this is how the games and community get treated. Build up the hype, give us DLC, then take it all away.
Rant aside, I would like to see a much bigger selection of gametypes and maps in big team battle on Halo 4, I would also love to see the DLC only playlists and Action Sack return on Halo Reach, after all, I/We paid good money for those map packs!!!
