I want to have a game play vid but need testers (forgot to save it the first time)

Description: A map based off stone henge, symmetrical. 4 teleporters, 2 on each side that take you to the buildings middle left and middle right.

Other notes: it was pretty hard to line up all the platforms nicly and still have the depression the the middle so its a bit uneven but not so bad that you have to jump.
Supports Vehicles: Yes
Budget Remaining: $10
Overall performance: Seemed fine in our 8v8 test, a couple of the bits on the floor have the shimmer effect but I’ve fixed it in most places
Split Screen Framerate Rating: Should be pretty terrible, stuff started going hazy for me in forge mode when I took the photo.

I hope you don’t end up having frame-rate issues. Those are the worst! They are really difficult to deal with in BTB settings.
The only thing I’m concerned about is the neutral Banshee because that thing is so overpowered, but hopefully it works on your map.

I think the banshee works pretty well since players can dodge around the stone pillars. There’s also 2 teleporters (although they only go to one place) so map movement is pretty fast and easy to get away from the banshee.
The idea with the banshee is that everyone can see where it is and there’s no fast way to get there (like utopie) so that new players know how to get there just as fast as anyone else.
The frame rate might be an issue, I haven’t noticed any myself but I’m not that good at telling if its happening or not.
I love this map layout, it would be awesome if this could be added in the BTB map list instead of most of the maps they have at the moment, they just don’t qualify compared to this map.

Make an imageshack or similar photo sharing site account and put your photos onto it. Then click on the make a slideshow button and select your maps photos.
this map is so old yet still needs alot of work…
- needs more direction to the map
- the banshee is going to be OP with so little cover from it
- there needs to be some area’s of traffic
all i can think of atm, i’d have to play on it to get a better idea.

Banshee isn’t that over powered from my tests, I would say its less over powered than it is on current BTB maps.
Can you expand on direction to the map and area’s of traffic? Don’t quite know what you mean.

man, this looks like a good map initial premise. I must say that it has lots of potential, but i’m spotting a few flws right off the bat. Firt off, there’s no Line-of-sight lockage from one base to another. I see that yo’ve tried to include some kind of sniping mechanic, but the human sniper is too powerful, good choice on using a focus rifle! Some kind of L-o-S blocker, such as a hill, would be a great improvement.

Thanks, Those blue parts you can see in the overhead are hill and split up the map nicely.
