Big team battle map pack

I’m looking into buying a big team battle dlc map pack which one is the best one to get thanks guys

Crimson DLC maps are the largest. That said they play horribly and I wouldn’t recommend buying any DLC at this point in time. Don’t get me wrong, the DLC in Halo 4 is fantastic (par crimson) however the maps rarely come up, if ever. Everyone in the lobby are required to have the DLC in order for the maps to come up. I know first hand that I find maybe one DLC lobby in every 30-50 lobbies in 4v4 playlist. Fancy your chances in an 8v8 playlist?

Apart from the few and far apart Skyline matches when Infinity Slayer required Majestic, I have not actually played any DLC beyond their respective launch playlists.

not ANY

If you’re in it just for War games I highly discourage buying DLC at this stage, unfortunately.

Lol, all the map packs are designed for BTB besides Majestic and The Pit.

This is exactly the attitude why people don’t buy the map packs. Giving people a bad view of the DLC discourages them from buying it, therefore the maps don’t show up.

It common sense. If you want to play the maps, encourage people to get them.

I have not seen a BT DLC map in months and I play all the time, therefore I cannot recommend buying something that I know is currently not worth the value.

The community has a responsibility to be honest in its assessment of the game and its DLC, to do otherwise would be irresponsible.

I’ve never played on any of the DLC BTB maps so far. At all.

And I play BTB quite a bit, so I’d follow these guys’ advice and just not get it at all. Although I have played on the Pit a few times, along with Skyline, one or two times on Daybreak, once on Landfall, and once on Perdition :L

It’s not common. And probably not worth it.

Did you not read that whole comment? If more people have the DLC (especially with halo 4s smallish population) it will show up more, Telling people to buy it will cause it to show up more this is common sense.

At least somebody actually gets it. Telling people not to bother playing the DLC makes less of a chance it shows.

And to all those who don’t get to play on them, have you actually tried to party up with other DLC owners? The more people in your lobby with DLC gives you a much higher chance of playing as you are more likely to be matched up with other parties of DLC owners doing the same. I do this with my friends all the time and play the DLC big team maps on a semi regular basis.

So two out of four? Why is that “lol” worthy?

I thought the Castle DLC was great for BTB.

But the chances of playing any DLC in Matchmaking is about 1%.

Unless 343 make it compulsory but they tried that with Infinity Slayer and have already removed DLC being required.

Halo 3 had playlist require DLC and the H3 player count was not hurt by this. Not even HR has DLC required playlist.
