So I played my 10 qualifying matches for Big Team and I feel like I have a good grasp on it. For the most part it’s a really good game mode. Far better than any of the other arena game types and it beats out Warzone by a little bit, but I still enjoy Warzone. My only concern is if there will be more/better vehicles added to it because I just think of big team and some complete chaos with vehicles and power weapons all over the place but thats just me. Even without that I will continue to play Big Team over other game types because of the variety of games modes. It is nice to change up things here and there instead of just playing Swat for example. I’ll give it a 9/10, Good Work.
I still need to finish my qualifying matches, but I had a lot of fun with the few games I did play. I’m still a standard Team Slayer/SWAT type of person myself, but BTB is a great option when I want to enjoy some vehicular madness or some of the crazier guns (like the Incineration Canon on Basin).
I had some lop-sided BTB matches, in the beginning. But recently have had some of the best games ive had in a long time on BTB. I would have to agree with this.
BTB was definitely a pleasant surprise with how well it turned out to be. It feels like it is the first social playlist for the game.
Meh. I was excited for BTB but the maps lack depth and subtlety.
In Halo 4, my infinity slayer 5v5 skills were average. However, with BTB I have the vision for placement and angles, and I was a monster.
BTB in halo 5 seems just like 4v4 slayer only with more people. That might sound stupid, but think about it. The maps leave you competely exposed, or in an area where you can’t see anyone. It’s one extreme or the other. In previous games, you could find key angles to hold a particular point in order to strategize for the battle as a whole. I’m not seeing that in this BTB.
