So lets be honest. Multiplayer is basically garbage… BTB and ranked. I mean how can you actually take ranked seriously with Oddball? Absolutely should NEVER be in ranked. Might as well call id keep away nade fest.
Make a 60vs60 team game with a map size and mobility like ALWAYS having grapple every 5 seconds, and other mobility. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO USE VEHICLES FOR MOBILITY. At least 60v60 would be insanely fun.
Oddball has been in the series since Halo 2 IIRC… You just have to learn how to play objective.

Oddball is honestly one of my favorite modes, when playing with friends, since we can toss the ball back and forth between each other. I played with a friend last night, and we had nine Oddball games in a row somehow. I wasn’t complaining.
As for 60 vs 60 super btb, the game can’t even handle 10 vs 10 btb right now, let alone not constantly crash randomly through the HCS 4 vs 4 livestreams lmao. 343 did mention at one point they wanted to do a 50 vs 50 super Big Team Battle for MCC, so I imagine at some point in the future it might be feasible to do that in Infinite, and I would welcome a 50 vs 50 super Warzone mode as well.
I didnt say oddball cant be fun but you SHOULD NOT BE FORCED to play it in comp. Ever. Period. Have Oddball mode thats fine.
