big maps vs small maps

The title says it all do you think halo 4 should be all big open maps like bf or small tight cornered maps like other halos and cod remember this is not for btb but for slayer gametypes.I think small maps are better because there is more action across the map

I think a mix of both is always the best option. You want small close combat maps, with tight turns and whatnot, and you want big battle maps that feel like an open battlefield. Just a mix of the two, imo.

I’d hope there is a selection, however Reach had really bad mutiplayer maps:

Countdown - Way to many power weapons,
Zealot - It’s a freaking 3D Donut with a useless space area.
Forge World - Maps a not unique with unique color pallet
Reflection - Control top balcony, spam nades to regain control.
Sword Base - The worst map ever, who puts a 8ft square room at the top of a lift?

We need more maps like:

  • The Pit
  • Guardian
  • Beaver Creek,
  • Narrows
  • Asylum (Sanctuary)
  • Lockout
  • Midship

Small maps - 25%
Medium maps - 50%
Large maps - 25%

If there’s 12 total maps - 6 small, 4 big, and 2 in-betweens (like Hang Em High or High Ground).

I miss The Pit Stop, and High Ground… I loved those maps…

It should have both. I prefer smaller maps, but large maps have always been a part of Halo. Sidewinder, Bloodgulch, etc. I won’t play on them, but they should definitely be there.

So you like the pit, which has two shotguns, two snipers, a rocket lawn chair, and a sword, but Countdown has too many power weapons? LMAO! Methinks you’re just hating on Reach to look cool.
