Im a halo fan and when halo reach came out there was forge world and i was woundering if the was any plans for any big map like forge world and if it does happen the one thing iv always wanted in forge was to spawn a pelican and a phantom.
It would be a travesty for 343 to not include a Forge World like the one Bungie gave us. Hopefully we might get multiple ones, like the community has been begging for since the early days of Halo Reach.
The pelican/phantom idea, although cool, wouldn’t work. They’re too big for 8v8 multiplayer and game breaking. They should stick to campaign only.
H2A’s Forge > Reach
I’m sure H5’s will be better.
Hopefully we will get skybox from halo 2A,
but phantoms and pelicans would be awesome!

I doubt we will ever see forge world, as the map is simply too big to have fancy lighting and look good. Forge maps often now have low frame rate and that’s on small maps. Expect skybox’s like H2A and maybe a few maps like ravine and impact.

options on skinning would be nice. I could see where it would be difficult to add snow to individual pieces, but you could select a representative skin for the map, and an atmosphere to match.
cant remember the map, but there was a MP map that was in the swamp and very foggy. I loved that feel

LOL I needed to do that.

Dude, are you ignoring the multiple skyboxes in Halo 5? They may be smaller, but there are much more skyboxes that provide amazing environments for forgers to build with. The Halo Reach Forge World was amazing, however you can never construct different environments, or add special effects like weather, change the material on blocks, nor could you have scripts. I know you just mentioned having large maps, but how many maps encompassed the whole forge world, besides race and etc.?
