So the home bases have tunnels that lead to right outside the Spire. However, there is a rock that is close enough to blue base’s opening that red players can jump into the entrance. So, when Blue team’s core is vulnerable, red can enter through the back door, while red base doesn’t have this disadvantage. It makes blue team having a vulnerable core that much more impactful than the other way around.
Never noticed this… time to exploit it!
Either side can be exploited if you use a Phaeton as an elevator…

Yeah but how many people actually even have Phaetons, and of those, how many do you think are actually gonna take a break from killing with it
Hmm…I didn’t realize that entrance was jumpable. On one hand, this imbalance is unfortunate, but on the other hand I’m glad you shared this info. Thx!
Not true. Using the mancannon and ground pound you can get into both bases. There is no disadvantage because you can do it to both sides.
Mancannon isn’t even necessary. There are some rocks you can use to get into the towers on both sides, but neither are terribly obvious or simple. Mancannons aren’t required.
I’ve run into this once. Now I know how he did it.
You can jump into either of those core towers. The other one is just a tad more difficult and easier to get killed doing it.
Yeah i agree though that they need to do something about that. It sucks when you match a full organized team and they are all jumping into that core tower. Not fun.
You can get into red base by sprint thrusting off a rock and ground pounding in the base or you can clamber up a tree and jump in. Blue base is a lot easier to do though. It’s most likely an oversight that 343 didn’t expect when designing the map. They would have to change the map to fix it so I doubt it will get fixed.

Red base has it too, you just have to know how to get in. I’ve done it to blue team and red team.

If they are working with friends then I think this is a likely scenario. I often “take breaks” from killing to do something strategic or help friends enjoy the game. Sometimes the best way to win a match isn’t to go out and kill as much as you can, rather it’s play smart and position yourself where you need to be to best help the team.
It’s not an imbalance if it can be done on both sides.
