What? That makes no sense. HCS req packs are buy only. They can’t be purchased with req points.
Ah wait nevermind I see it now… If you got XP boost back that means you have all the HCS stuff unlocked already.

I was thinking he was talking about the team packs but there is a special HCS pack being offered now but it’s not the team stuff it’s the HCS stuff. Guess he didn’t know that if you already have all the stuff these “special” packs unlock you get boost back instead. I have all the HCS stuff so I am not getting it.
I still haven’t unlocked the HCS Contender Red pistol skin, though I had the privilege of purchasing 5 Rare Arena XP Boosts for 80,000 RP…
Update: Now it’s showing it as unlocked…

I don’t so I’m really annoyed by the fact that I can’t get on the Xbox. I could have 100% armor and helmets then!

Isn’t HCS contender no longer available. There is one set that was a special pack for a certain event and that was it or something like that

Considering I’ve unlocked everything of the HCS Contender skins except the pistol I’m going to say it’s definitely still available.
It’s not a scam, it probably means that you have already gotten it before.
Well you have everything unlocked. It’s good for new players or people who actually want the pack.
If you have everything, which a lot of people do, it’s a waste of req points. But then again… If you have everything, that means you’re just sitting on req points anyway. I bought several platinum packs just because.

Although it’s not necessarily a fraud, because there are some people (not me, but some people) who would be happy to trade lots of req points for some xp boosts, because they have everything unlocked and don’t play Warzone, but still want to rank up. At least, I think those people exist, somewhere, probably

With that though, perhaps there should be a warning for players who have already unlocked all the contents of that pack. Say befor you buy it, the game will tell you “you have already unlocked most/all the items in this pack.”
I think that would be a nice improvement for everyone who is unaware of such things, lest we make everyone suffer and learn the hard way.

you can get them from team packs like Allegiance or Evil Geniuses

The pack description already says it’ll unlock the exclusive items then it says it’ll unlock five rare or higher items if available once purchased again.
Is the pack still up? When I played today, I didn’t see it…
