Better Perks for GamePass Ultimate Subscribers

I know there is quite a bit of pushback with regards to the BP, but what about GamePass subscribers? I’m aware that there are monthly rewards and so forth, but I would like to see better perks for the people that subscribe to the service (it’s not exactly cheap for existing users).

EDIT: A flagship title like Infinite seems like a good opp to showcase the benefits of having a subscription. All eyes are on Halo, this year, so it only makes sense for 343/Microsoft to market the service to non-subscribers.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but you still need an XBL Gold subscription to play Infinite, right? Which I think is only $5 less than GamePass. So you have to pay either way - I guess I just don’t know why GP users would get more free stuff when they’re only paying $5/month?

Ultimate Players should be lucky to have Infinite bro. It’s the only way to get it as there are no disked versions in stores yet.

@STAGGA22 This is not true, Gold is still possible to buy separately.

Also, @LtCrazy5725 - there was an announcement that Gampass ultimate subscribers WOULD get monthly perks. I am assuming they are simply waiting for December 8th to actually make it happen.

You are correct. I removed my statement that XBL was replaced by Ultimate. Sorry for the incorrect and misleading inform.

It was announced today - We’re getting something every month.

First month: AR skin/coating - and 4 swaps and 4 boosts.

I’m actually okay with the reward for December. I wouldn’t want too big a bonus, at least if it was exclusive, because I don’t want non-ultimate users to have an inferior experience to me and other ultimate users. I mean, I’m not gonna complain if I get more bonuses, I just don’t want them to be too big, if that makes sense.

Yea I was disappointed when I saw it. Was hoping for something like enough credits for the premium battle pass. But I read it’s monthly - so guess will have to wait and see. Random items are never great, but more free stuff is better than nothing too.

They actually revealed the first monthly perk today. An AR skin and a swap/boost.

I feel like I read somewhere that Amazon prime was doing prime rewards too.

Haven’t seen anything about Prime Gaming Rewards for Infinite, but they do Destiny 2, so maybe. I’d like that a lot since I have both

I might have imagined it. Not seeing anything remotely related in google searches. A man can dream though…

For xbox yes. PC users don’t have to have xbox live. Personally I think PS+ and XBL being required to play online is an outdated design that needs to go away.

I didn’t receive mine. I have quick resume disabled and been a ultimate sub for over a year with no lapse. Anyone know a fix?

You have to redeem the perk and the code you receive to get the items.

You can only redeem the perk on Xbox and not the mobile Game Pass app. You will get a code you need to redeem on Waypoint.
