I would rather have Halo 5 instead of Halo 2. Halo CE anniversary was complete garbage. If you played Co-op it was horrible. So much lag. Instead of wasting time making a remake they could do a better job and fixing Halo 4. 60 bucks for an old game the is in HD is not worth it. It doesn’t even look good.

All of what you said is completely subjective. Halo 2 was hands down MY personal favorite, and would EASILY lay down DOUBLE of what you said to get an anniversary version of it.

343I didnt technically do Halo CEA, and im pretty sure they wont be really fixing Halo 4 anymore, since the population is so low.

That’s the only part of OPs posting I have to defend. As far as I remember there had been enormous problems with lag in coop campaign in that game, even if one had a brilliant and superfast internet connection.
I don’t remember if it was ever fixed, though…

But I’d rather spend $60 bucks on HALO 2A then Halo 5 at the moment.
I played probably a months worth of co-op campaign even with bad internet sometimes and I never experienced this… ‘Lag’ you people speak of.
Oh yes it was fixed as well by the way, but you have to ‘DIY’ like halo mahkyla said, fix your internet.

I never had connection problems with Halo CEA when i was playing Co-op with it.

Well a lot of people had, although not everyone was affected. Just google “Halo Anniversary coop lag” and you find dozen of threads, youtube videos and whatnot about it.
I too rather have a Halo 2 A instead of Halo 5 at this point.

Needless to say, I’d prefer Halo 2 Anniversary over Halo 5 at this point.

I would much rather have Halo 2 and wait a bit longer for Halo 5.
But i agree one the remake of Halo:CE that was a big pile of fail.
Sure the campaign looked good, but overlay graphics was a bit weird. It feels wrong to play a game where you can’t count on if a certain object, wall etc. provides cover or not.
Coop was extremly laggy, and it was a HUGE let down that the game didn’t contain original multiplayer.
A Halo 2 remake should be treated with respect, i hope they don’t let us down.
I would happily pay to play through a re-mastered Halo 2 campaign, one of my favourites.
Multiplayer would be a fantastic bonus to me, but I think many would not buy it if it didn’t come with CLASSIC Halo 2 multiplayer, not Halo 2 maps on Halo 4.

It would be cool to see a Halo 2 Anniversary, I’d rather 343 buy some time to perfect Halo 5, and play H2 Anniversary in the meantime.
Yeah definitely OP, a total remake of Halo 2 would be the best step forward at this point. I also really appreciated Halo CEA so another throwback anniversary is definitely in store for Halo 2!!! Here’s hoping with you buddy!!
