343 seemed to think that the only thing that mattered when matching games was wait time, that people were too impatient to wait for a good game with a good connection and would rather have quicker matchmaking.
So instead of just assuming that 343 was wrong, I wanted to ask you guys. Would you rather have better quality matches (similar skilled players, good connection, possibly mics) or get matched 1-2 minutes faster?

I would rather wait longer for a good match against skilled players, over just getting matched up quickly against noobs. I would also rather play games that didn’t lag so much. A good 80-90% of my games are laggy the whole time. I’m tired of the lag.
As a “slightly below average player,” I would much rather not get put against 35-50’s.
I have NO chance of ever winning any significant number of FFA or Flood matches. “have we got the full 8/10 players? Off you go then!”

Ten minutes is a pretty long time… But I suppose if every one of those games go 49-49 then it might be worth it.
No i would rather get the quickest match so i can stat on bad kids and get my kd rocking high and get the montage clips yum :).

Same. I’ll sometimes spend ten minutes backing out of JiP and lobbies with imbalanced teams or poor host choice. If the game would automate that for me, that would be awesome.
