While scanning some of the content on the site I got to wondering why a PDF or flip book of Halsey’s journal was never added.
I’ll be the first to admit that the story of reach muddied the waters of established canon a bit, but Halsey’s journal at least attempts (quite successfully) of bringing things in line.
The only problem is that only the owners of a Reach Limited edition (not me), and those who can get around a torrent site (me) have access to it.
Now, if 343 was gong to disown the canon of Reach … then who cares about the journal.
It would serve no purpose.
But, as most of you know, Jun is in the Initiation comic series - a 343 product - so the Reach canon is in.
And it’s co-written by Nylund - really, who doesn’t want more Nylund.
What do you’s guys think?
For those of you who haven’t seen it - do you want to?
I argued for a standalone version of the journal at first, but now, a lot of what was in the journal is pretty much common knowledge, thanks in part to the Kilo-Five Trilogy.

raises hand I don’t. Anyway, greater access to Halsey’s Journal is fine by me. The more lore that’s out there, the better.

I had to admit, I got a laugh out of your post. As I was having a real crummy day up until now, that really helped brighten things up. I thank you.
However, to add to the heresy around here… I have to admit I’ve never read any of the books except The Cole Protocol (And even then only the first three chapters) so I can’t really ‘pick sides’ when it comes to what authors I like/dislike.

Glad I could brighten your mood.
