I don’t know who else has had this problem before, but I rarely EVER play with a full team, so it is frustrating enough to always get randoms who are not sure what they are doing or blow the games, especially in Team Arena when teamwork and callouts are so vital! But, the last few days have been extremely trying for me because I have been playing with just my bestfriend trying to get my onyx, but keep getting two other people who are utterly clueless most of the time. Worse yet, they will intentionally betray me if I am using the “power weapon” on the map or “power-up” trying to win the game for us simply because they want it for themselves. Now I know this is hard to do anything about because you can’t really turn friendly-fire off in Team Arena like you can in SWAT, but it’s annoying to lose because of this… Now, a more pressing issue is the splinter grenades here lately. Everyone knows the splinter grenades linger long after they are thrown and most of the time if they are not directly hit people avoid them, well I will often use them to either make an escape or block the enemy team from getting an objective in Team Arena, which is HIGHLY effective, problem is here lately my randoms have been so stupid they are literally watching and seeing me throw these grenades, then 2 or 3 seconds later deciding they can walk straight through them, THUS killing themselves and giving me the betrayal when I have already moved on to a different battle or objective. TWICE in the last two days I have had the same kid in two separate games walk into these grenades and betray himself, but the game still gives them the option to boot me and they do so!!! Both times I lose over 80% of rank in my current progress, which took me down an entire tier and you know how long that takes to get back when trying to get to Onyx and it led to a short ban! Now, I am not one of those players who betrays people on purpose, I try too hard to get my rank and it is ridiculous that these horrible kids get this option because they A) Don’t know how to play the game, B) Are trolling, and C) Sadly, are so bad they simply do not know how to walk around or wait for the splinter grenade to disappear to walk through! I’m sorry, but the booting system needs to be changed somehow! This also goes for accidental betrayals with vehicles, where clearly the teammate didn’t mean to betray their teammate. I’ve seen too many people booted for this because of accidents and huge explosions, we all know what explosions and fast vehicles do! And, I’m sorry but this crap allowing trolls to boot so easily has to stop!
