I have been hearing mixed things about the Betraying in the game and I’m not sure whether or not you can kick people for Betraying? If anyone knows how this is set up could you please give me an answer.
- Thanks!

Bump, someone please give me an answer?
I won’t stop bumping this
Looks like I’ll betray several people and find out myself.
yes, you can
From what I have observed, betraying definitely works. My friends and I have been playing Campaign and we have gotten the option to boot each other. As far as match making, I suspect the game uses an algorithm which looks for suspicious behavior. After ‘x’ number of betrayals spread across ‘y’ amount of games the algorithm hones on to each person and determines whether a player should see a boot screen based on past behavior.
Long story short, it should work like the other Halo games, except with higher accuracy.
Now it would be really really nice if boot capability was provided only when the betrayer was detected as actually intentionally grieving his teammates and not accidental friendly fires. THAT WOULD BE A VERY WELCOMED IMPROVEMENT!!!
Yup. I got the option to boot a teammate after he accidentally ran me over with his Ghost. I didn’t because I’m cool like that, but the option is definitely still there.
Good because Reach’s Booting System was AWFUL. I hope Halo 4 has a much better system that can detect whether or not it was on purpose.
Agreed
