Betrayals in Halo multiplayer

Just to ensure, this does NOT include purpose betrayals for weapons/vehicles---->Select No if this is what you want.

Just wanted to see if the player base was forgiving or just not tolerant at all.

This applies mainly for the halo games that gave you a prompt for betrayal kicks, such as Reach.

I myself always try to forgive Spartans, due to me really being idiotic and getting into nade spams and line of sight by accident.

:stuck_out_tongue:

I mean sometimes, accidents happen. It’s repeat offenders, or obvious infractions that I do not forgive.

I always try to put myself in their shoes. When I throw a nade and miss, or when I panic and punch my teammate in the face, I immediately fell sorry and worried that I will get booted. I don’t want to get booted, so neither do they.

If it’s accidental I usually forgive them, but if they do it on purpose then I boot them the first chance I get - the only time I don’t instantly boot is when it would leave my team at a disadvantage.

A stray grenade I can forgive, but not a beat down for a rocket launcher.

Yeah, I forgive them when it was an accident. But, for example, if they betray me to get the flag or a power weapon then no.

If it is an accident I would forgive once. But if they are doing it enough to bring up the request to boot, then no. They need to stop and learn to be more careful. I run into people doing it on purpose a thousand more times than accidents though.

I kept getting spartan charged in the Team Arena playlist, especially on Regret, but I stayed so we could win.

It’s usually pretty clear, especially if playing with most of a team you know, when someone is just doing it to troll you. Usually, forgiveness is the answer.

Always when me or my friend betrayal some one in accident we get kicked, so usually I kick them who betray me.

Accidents happen. I know I feel really guilty when I betray someone and hope they don’t boot me, so I boot very rarely.

I played with this one person on my team the other day, I don’t know what their deal was - they didn’t betray me outright, but they kept chasing me taking my shields down to critical and then I got killed twice because of it. I dunno if they were trolling to be funny, if they were colorblind/didn’t know what team they were on because they were an even bigger noob than me (which is hard to do), or what. I don’t think they were betraying me for power weapons because I wasn’t carrying any at the time. Wished I was using my mic for that game.
