So i just started an Big team game, the first thing i did was getting the sniper, so i got it, then suddenly an kid killed me because he wanted the sniper to badly, so i died, didnt get the change to kick him for betraying me, I felt like ok then your death, so i killed him and he kicked me…
why so unfair
Standard rule in life:
If you’re gonna do something stupid, make sure you’re the first to do it: It never goes well the second time around.
Edit:
I feel your pain though, betrayals in Reach are far worse than they were in any other Halo game.
Common complaint with the game and the series as a whole, happens far more often than you might think.
People do that all the time. I was betrayed yesterday for the Scorpion gunner seat. The gunner seat!
I never had the option to boot. I wasn’t about to betray him for risk of getting booted.
Happens to me all of the time!!! (stopped playing normal BTB awhile ago…) The sad thing is, is that when a buddy kills me because we are grenade spamming the invasion capture points, I can boot him, I don’t but I could. (I don’t boot if I think they didn’t want to kill me.)
I hate that, ill usually intentionally try and piss the person off who betrayed me so they will do it again and then ill boot them. I hate when people automatically boot for things though, especially when its their own fault (like deciding they want to ram the person i just shot a wraith bomb at…). I typically dont boot unless it was obviously intentional
Rather than betraying him back, just unprefer him and give him a bad rating, and moving on.
BTW, never kick someone who betrayed you, if you know it was an honest mistake

In a BTB game the other day, I was playing Rasu Heavies and I had the sniper as red in our cave. I start getting shot at and see that the only person around is my teammate. I run back to our base and end up getting killed before I can safely escape. No betrayal boot option. I respawn, he is camo sniping in our base. I kill him and take back my sniper and move up the field and don’t get booted. Later, he is in our base again camo sniping, so I start shooting him. He ends up betraying me and I finally boot him.
It took a while, but justice finally prevailed.
