Betrayal!

I have a question about how betraying works in Infinity Slayer. Now I know Friendly Fire is turned off, but it’s still possible to get betrayed/betray someone if you run them over with a vehicle. Yesterday, I foolishly searched solo in BTB Infinity Slayer and got placed on a team of people who you could say weren’t the sharpest tools in the shed. 3 or 4 times when I was minding my own business attempting to get to the center structure on Exile, I was carelessly run over by some idiots in a Warthog. It was by absolutely no means my fault, I wasn’t looking in their direction any of the times I was run over, and I wasn’t just standing in the middle of the road.

But the thing is, each time I got run over, it said “Betrayal!” instead of “Betrayed!” Is this new in Halo 4 where he doesn’t say “Betrayed!” anymore? Or did I actually get credited with betrayals for getting run over by my teammate? I thought it was interesting that my spawn timer was actually extended after that too, and I couldn’t respawn instantly anymore, so I’m assuming it was the latter.

If that’s true, then seriously? What the hell? I’m pretty certain I didn’t splatter myself, so why should I be credited with a betrayal? “Oh, I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have been walking in the path of your speeding Warthog that you don’t know how to drive!”

I hope that’s just a mistake and that 343i can fix it. Quite frankly, that’s a load of BS.

In halo 4, It just says “Betrayal” If you were on the giving end or the receiving end. About the respawn, I’ve had a few times where i couldn’t respawn instantly, but I never really pay attention to the timer, so I’m not sure about that.
