So, last night I was playing a little Dominion, as I like to do, and ran for Alpha on Exile and nabbed the Sniper Rifle on the way, as I usually do. I get stuck by my teammate. Fine. Great. You’re awesome.
He goes and takes the Sniper and teabags my body. Now that’s going too far I say to myself… so I go bug him a bit, shooting a little AR at him while opponents kill him. 20 seconds later he betrays me again, no boot option, a third betrayal, finally I boot him.
He’s gone, but 2 seconds later, he is back in the game. What, I say? Then he and two other teammates continue to stalk me across map and team-kill me. It seems he joined in progress by joining his friend’s session. So, I booted him for betrayals, and he simply rejoined.
Not only that but as all 3 betrayed me over and over and I booted all 3 of them at one point or another, but they kept joining back in on each other. They were never all 3 booted at once.
So, that’s my story. A betrayal boot should kick the whole party or at the very least not allow someone to re-join the same game.
Wow - that’s really bad and needs looking into.
Thanks for posting it here. Hopefully someone from 343i sees this and adds it to their to-do list for title updates, because that sort of experience can really put someone off a game.
You should post this in the ‘Issues being investigated’ stickied topic as well. It might help them see it.

Is Friendly Fire not turned off in Dominion?
Yep, it was a bit irritating. Normally I just brush that stuff off and forget it, but, meh, this guy got my goat and then kept getting it >.> haha.
And no, FF isn’t on for Dominion - it’s not a Slayer gametype.
He doesn’t even need his friends. He can just go to recent players, and join in progress via anyone that is still in the game.

Interesting point. Speaking of which - that’s how I found them afterwards, avoided them, downrepped, and filed complaints on them. Woops.
I’d say I would try to test this out but I don’t team kill and don’t plan to in order to test out a theory haha. I assumed they were his friends because they all began hunting me after he got booted.

Not a theory. Completely true. I have been booted before because of imbeciles jumping front of my wraith. And I just rejoined via recent players.

Well then this is a larger issue than I initially thought.
I was thinking perhaps I was just mad and someone here would tell me I was seeing things and it’s not possible they joined back.
But, there you are. He did, they did, everyone can. Booting should not be like this 
PERSONALLY I think betraying is worse than idling or quitting (both of which get you BANNED). You are not just passively making other players have a harder time winning, you are ACTIVELY hindering their ability to even play the game.
How I had no idea this was possible. It really needs to be addressed because that’s ridiculous. I would have just quit, but then they would be getting what they want.

Yeah I had had a rough night - was being chewed out by a friend of a xbl friend because I wasn’t doing exactly what he said when he said it in CTF - so I struck out on my own to play Dominion, which I love. So, when my “cool-down-have-fun” playlist got soured, I wasn’t about to just let them win. Little did I know at the time that I was just booting the same 3 people.
