I was betrayed well over 5 times on Freight by the same person over & over & over again, yet I did not get the option to boot? They literally shot @ me all game ( I took the camo) , threw splinters etc… Why in the world was I not given the option to boot? I will gladly link the gameplay. Its a shame toxic member like this can’t be dealt with & make the game enjoyable for others.
After 2 betrayals you should be able to boot, end of story.
They must’ve taken the Betrayal boot out, i wouldn’t know for certain cause I haven’t touched halo 5 in 12 months
But if they did, all I can say it’s a terrible choice to do that

Did they ever actually deliver the kill to you? Because that’s the flaw with the betrayal system. If they leave you weakened for the enemy to finish off, the game brushes it off like nothing happened.

Yeah my teammates name showed up in the kill feed on me 6 or 7 times lol. What a joke.
What playlist? How often were the betrayals (every 30 sec? More frequent? Less?)?

Maybe the betrayals reset each round?

Don’t know for sure, but it’s possible that because of the nature of some games in Action Sack (and because the playlist is meant to be more like Custom Games than traditional matchmaking) that certain elements of matchmaking rules are turned off or more lenient in Action Sack. Certainly, betrayals are taken seriously in other playlists. Even Grifball boots for betrayals. Action Sack could be an exception because of its unconventional qualities.

Well you cant betray in rift ball, husky raid. That trend should just continue then for say bloc pit & freight.
Nothing that can be done now, its just really annoying.
Its just a shame that a few players can ruin a fun playlist at times, even if it is every once in a while.

Oh i do, & block them. But im not sure how much in weight reporting someone really has.

Yeah, I have had this problem before. I killed someone by accident right when the game started and he just took my shields constantly during the entire game but never actually directly killed me.
I get it I have when people just kill me and -Yoink!- me for no reason what so ever I don’t like it but of course when I kill them they get salty and pretty much attack me until I die in my personal opinion that they should fix where you can’t kill your teammates no matter what

I never stoop to their level, I try & ignore them but they never leave it alone.
In social games people betray like crazy. You pick a sniper up you’ll get betrayed every time in btb. If someone betrays me I typically spend the rest of the game following them around draining their shields but never actually betraying them. Reporting to Xbox live at worst gives them a 15 minute ban. So might as well enjoy some revenge

Ah yes the sniper betryal. I find it comical that still happens. this has been going on for as long as i can remember. These kids think they are entitled to the sniper…
If i dont get it off the start, i usually try & grab the other teams snipe, or go back to the snipe spawn in 3mins & grab it then.
I think they turned it off in Action Sack. A few months ago, some inbred fool thought it a good idea to only get kills on his teammates the entire match on Blok Pit. I got super pissed that there was no boot system since there’s no reason for it not being in there. Just another reason why this game has become a dumpster fire after November 2017.

It blows my mind that this happens when 343 could implement the system to be more strict or just turn off friendly fire? Yet another easy fix that is being ignored. Sigh
this has been lately very common on action sack, takes the fun out of it.
I tend to get betrayed often in WZ. The system confuses me, I’ve accidentally hit a teammate while exiting home base in a ghost then immediately kicked off. Banhammer and all, yet others tend to stomp the yard on me.
Last game I even asked why he was killing me. Was told because he’s bored. Still couldn’t boot him and his friends. They each killed me for fun. Guess it keeps you on your toes.
It might just be the game type. Last night I did see a teammate in a wraith splatter 4-5 of my teammates with one boost and he got the boot. Usually it’s 2-3 depending on how many people you have recently betrayed.
