I just got back into halo recently and I do not know much about what 343 has done for it. But I have to ask if this would work. In MW3 they have the Hard Core Ricochet playlist, were what ever damage you inflict on a fellow team mate goes right to your health. Could this work in Reach to slow down the betrayal rate?

Like that time playing Halo Reach first time through on legendary. He shot a civilian and next thing i see, he drops dead.
It could potentially work, but there is the issue of unintended damage.
Myself, I would advocate a system so that if a Player betrays a team mate, They are unable to pick up the Items they drop. That would put a stop to ‘That’s my sniper rifle i’m betraying you to get it’
Actually, now that I think about it, griefers would just need to jump on your nades and stay in front of you while you shoot to kill you… and it wouldn’t even count as a betrayal. lol

Lol, I just put a thread up about this, thought about it 2 weeks ago when I could never use my sniper…but i think it would be great. Sorry if you think that I just copied your topic.
