Betrayal system fix

Can we have a fix for the betrayals please?

Just my last game I was flying the Falcon on Raso BTB Heavies. I had 2 gunners. I was lasered out of the sky and it said I had betrayed the both… and surprise surprise, I was booted.

Unintentional and unfair booting. I’m losing out on credits here.

I fully agree. It’s horribly broken.

It wouldn’t be all that hard to fix. All they need to do is design a system that takes into account a few variables, while also completely ditching the current system in Reach.

  • Were there enemies on your screen when you betrayed?
  • Were you under fire when you betrayed?
  • How close was your victim to any opponents when the betrayal happened?
  • Did your victim betray you earlier in the game?
  • Does your victim have a power weapon?
  • Did you deal friendly damage to your victim all at once (grenade, rocket, mortar), or over a longer period of time (friendly AR, melee)?[/li]
The list goes on. Bottom line, it’s far from impossible to design a working betrayal system. Who knows why Bungie failed on something that has multiple realistic solutions.

Remove friendly fire.

Problem solved.

Friendly fire brings some thought into Halo rather than simply firing a rocket into a group of enemies while your team mate about to die in there can go undamaged and untouched.

I’ve heard this argument many times before and it didn’t make any sense then and it doesn’t make any sense now either.
And I agree removing friendly fire would solve many annoying problem like being betrayed for a weapon e.t.c

And if an ally already is under heavy fire from a buch of enimes he/she is probably going to die anyway so I won’t think twice about fireing that rocket

I think that friendly fire should be turned off compleatly in normal MM playlists.

I hope that there is no firendly fire in Halo 4

Player 1: “Hey dude this room is full of enemies”

Player 2: " Don’t worry just let me throw this sticky on you real quick"

Player 1 proceeds to run in the room and kill everyone, and walk out alive.

No friendly fire is so cool. Right?

that would had be awesome

but it isn’t really that easy…

besides removing Friendly Fire has more pros than cons

No, it really doesn’t please list all these ‘pros’ you’re talking about.
