Betrayal Cam Confirmed!

0:23 is the Proof

A flood gets betrayed by another flood and he gets to se how he got betrayed.

Finally we get our confirmation, sweet.

We will now be able to know if somebody betrayed us for accident or on purpose, and decide if boot the player or not.

Thoughts?

YES!!! Honestly the best use for the Kill-cam, most of the time it’s hard to tell if it’s accidental or on purpose.

Hopefully people will use it to determine whether or not to boot someone instead of booting for the sake of booting.

But the real question is will the option to boot be broken like Reach or will it be fixed in Halo 4, because I’m sick of trolls betraying me for a weapon with no boot option only to betray them to get back what was mine and then being booted for it.

I am in total agreement with this. This is totally needed.
And it will also be pretty funny seeing someone launch a rocket from across the map at a sniper and then see me assassinating said sniper as the rocket hits. That would be awesome if you ask me.

rofl, that’s gonna be hilarious.

I can only imagine the most ridiculous betrayals and then laughing my yoinking -Yoink- off watching them.

Good find OP. I agree, this will be a good tool to have.

I think that whether or not the gametype has a killcam, there should always be betrayal cams on.

Killcam is a -Yoinking!- stupid idea.

I don’t mind what they did in BF 3 where you would see where the player who killed you is at the moment, but it’s not cool to pull a COD and just show us how they did it, isn’t that the whole point of theater mode?

With all the little things 343i is grabbing from COD and shoving in Halo, I really feel that they are just thinking “Hey, those guys are successful, why not put a Halo skin on what they have?”

From what I’ve played of it I was disappointed, you can easily tell that this game isn’t made by Bungie and it’s taking itself a little bit too seriously.

God I miss the days of Halo 2 and 3, when the games were much simpler, when everyone was on a level playing field no matter how long they had been playing. What happened to that huh?

/Rant

Get out.

They’re not willy-nilly grabbing stuff from CoD and putting it into Halo. Killcams isn’t CoD. CoD didn’t invent killcams.

THANK YOU, 343i! Finally, like you said, we will now be able to know for sure if it was an accident!

This isn’t going to get rid of those people who boot no matter what but it should reduce booting accidental betrayers.

Then that way: it better save me getting booted if I lob a frag about 100000 miles away randomly and all of a sudden I accidentally betrayed my team-mate that was fighting enemies next to explosives.

And a friend standing in front of my Wraith mortar with a dude on my turret, then there was a half dead Scorpion trying to kill me, so I shot, but it killed me, my two team-mates because of a careless team-mate. I waited for 20 seconds to spawn with the random dude standing still. As soon as I spawned: I get booted from the game.

Yes, those happened to me before on Reach.

I just hate getting booted carelessly if betrayals like that happen that clearly weren’t mean’t to happen or weren’t my fault.

ALSO: After 0:23, you can hear in-game music while there’s a Flood battle going on! I wonder…

I do hope the booting system will be integrated with this.
Because I agree that this would mean you can see if a betrayal was on purpose.

Still 1 thing though: this still won’t help get rid of those guys standing in between the “wings” of the Wraith which makes it impossible not to kill them and get booted…

Awesome find OP! I hope that it can’t be skipped though so it forces people to see if a betrayal was an accident or not. Otherwise they might just skip it and kick anyway.

Good, we’ll be able to make a video on the person betrayaling us multiple times if it occurs in Zombies and report them. Could also be used for Betrayal of the Week.

ive been betrayed so many times for the power core in invasion.

Creativity is simply the art of hiding your inspiration.
